Acacia Park Summer Concert Series

Free Acacia Park Summer Concert Series kicks off June 1

Downtown Colorado Springs announces the 2013 lineup of the popular Acacia Park Summer Concert Series, kicking off June 1 (see schedule below.) Saturday performances begin at 6 p.m. and cover a range of music genres from folk to bluegrass, rock, blues or jazz.  Ample parking is available just one block west of the park in the Bijou/Cascade parking garage. The cost is $1 for unlimited Saturday parking.

The Modbo and Downtown Colorado Springs will host a Kickoff Extravaganza for the series on Saturday, June 1. Following the concert, enjoy live music in the alleys behind Prudential (west of Tejon Street and north of Bijou), behind The Modbo (south of Bijou between Tejon and Cascade), and behind ReMax (south of Platte between Tejon and Cascade).  Bands include: Swelter and Burn, PsychoTease, M.o.D.T., and Cruxxes, featuring members of The Pirate Signal and BLKHRTS.
